I don't know if much of this is a Dolphin problem or The steam-gyro-for-cemuhook problem, so my apologies for insinuating that Dolphin may be at fault. I think it's very intuitive in Super Mario Galaxy 2 to point with the controller. I want to go as far as to say that I think the Steam Controller is one of the best ways to place Wii games. (like Link swinging his sword in Twilight Princess)Īny input on any of this would be nice. This one is entirely wishful thinking, have no idea if it would be possible or not, but the Steam Controller beeps, maybe its speaker could be used for the few Wii games that play sounds in the wii-mote. That should force the Steam Deck to run with 3 cores, which can make performance in more demanding games better than they were before. Right now it's stuck at around 40 fps, as if there's a frame limit set. While running a game on Dolphin via Game Mode, go to PowerTools via the Decky-tab, disable SMT and set the amount of threads to 3. I don't think the Steam Controller has traditional rumble motors, but surely the haptic feedback could be used as a pseudo rumble replacement. I'm sorta new to Dolphin (and here, too, actually) but I was wondering what my settings should look like to run Super Mario Galaxy 2 at full speed. Again, The steam-gyro-for-cemuhook software shows that the left pad works in the output, I think Dolphin just needs an update/tweak of some kind to show it in the wiimote button configs. Im using Dolphin Master Branch emulator for Super Mario Sunshine. The back paddles can't be bound in Dolphin. The steam-gyro-for-cemuhook software shows that the left pad works in the output, I think Dolphin just needs an update/tweak of some kind to show it in the wiimote button configs Motion sensing stages are no good, and yoshi on galaxy2 is also a worse experience. For me it work better cause I hate wiggle to attack. By the way, Skyward Sword runs virtually 100 speed at 2x resolution on the latest MMJ build with the Snapdragon 865. You can put wiggle on a button and play like 90 on any controller. A temporary fix I have is to close the rom and open it again and for some reason it will work, HOWEVER, if I enter steam big picture and I re-enter the. The cursor works for everything but star bits and yoshis tongue as far as I know. I'd really like to have the ability to fully map it as a joystick input like I can with the right haptic pad. If only dolphin could register my phone gyro as motion plus and the controller as the buttons simultaneously. Im using steam big picture to launch dolphin, and then from there I launch into the Super Mario Galaxy 2 rom. There's just a few wishful things that I would like to have sorted it, it's working otherwise perfectly:ġ) Left haptic pad can only be used as a D-Pad, only registers hard Up, Down, Left, Right inputs I got it working using this software (as advised in the Dolphin wiki) I got my Steam Controller working with Dolphin and it is a dream! It's been really fun swinging my Steam Controller in Wii Sports golf.
